Helpful guidance across key pages

Planner, Shopping, Meals, Items, and key Settings pages now include lighter contextual guidance to explain important workflows in place.

Reusable Recipes for family favourites

Family-plan households can create and organise Recipes with ingredients, quantities, yields, instructions, images, notes and source details.

Include Recipes in Meals

Meals can combine Included Recipes with Meal Items while keeping each Recipe reusable and easy to open when it is time to cook.

Recipe ingredients in Shopping Lists

Ingredients from Included Recipes now contribute automatically when PantryM8 builds a Shopping List from planned Meals.

Improvements

Recipes where families plan and cook

Planner and Dashboard Meal cards show Recipe context, and Dashboard cooking details can be opened without leaving the day overview.

  • A guided start for every household: A short, resumable Getting Started guide helps households choose planning, shopping and dashboard preferences before opening the part of PantryM8 they want to use first.
  • Build an Item catalogue your way: Add initial Items from reviewed receipt scanning, shopping CSV files or manual entry, or continue without adding Items yet.

Improvements

  • Clearer plan and feature visibility: My Plan, subscription-aware feature messaging, and shared release communication are now presented more clearly for everyday PantryM8 use.
  • Safer reviewed receipt processing: Receipt processing shows real progress, supports cancellation and recovery, and always keeps detected Items editable before confirmation.

  • Public roadmap and release history: PantryM8 now has public roadmap and Whats New pages so customers can review current direction and release details in plain language.
  • Community feature requests: PantryM8 now lets customers submit feature ideas, browse approved requests, and support the improvements they want most through a dedicated community request workflow.

  • Signed-in Whats New updates: The signed-in Whats New overlay is now tied to the active PantryM8 release so future product updates can be announced more cleanly.

Resolved Bugs

  • Planner and shopping polish fixes: Recent user-facing fixes improved planner return flow, shopping review actions, quantity handling, and cache-refresh behaviour for shared assets.
