  • Recipes where families plan and cook: Planner and Dashboard Meal cards show Recipe context, and Dashboard cooking details can be opened without leaving the day overview.
  • Safer reviewed receipt processing: Receipt processing shows real progress, supports cancellation and recovery, and always keeps detected Items editable before confirmation.
  • A clearer path from receipt to Items: Receipt review now guides unresolved products one at a time, offers stronger catalogue suggestions, keeps purchase quantities editable, and lets households manage their own learned receipt aliases.

Resolved Bugs

  • Item creation returns to the right Meal: Creating an Item while editing a Meal now returns it to that Meal with the current ingredient selection intact.
  • Planned Meals swap correctly: Dashboard and Planner swaps now exchange the selected planned entries while preserving their dates and individual planning details.
  • Mobile navigation stays accessible: The portrait navigation menu and backdrop now remain above page content and close consistently across touch, keyboard and orientation changes.
  • Locked plans stay protected: Planner bulk-clear actions now leave every Meal protected by completed shopping history in place and report protected entries before confirmation.
  • More predictable Item searching: Item search waits for an explicit Enter or search action, keeps related controls together, and avoids duplicate requests when focus changes.
  • More reliable receipt recognition: Valid grocery lines, multiple aliases for one Item, and database-timed processing now behave consistently while preserving reviewed confirmation and account-private learning.

  • Planner and shopping polish fixes: Recent user-facing fixes improved planner return flow, shopping review actions, quantity handling, and cache-refresh behaviour for shared assets.
  • More reliable OCR configuration testing: OCR credentials and bounded diagnostics store without truncation, and configuration tests use a valid deterministic image.
