Terms of Service

The service

PantryM8 provides household Item, Meal, Recipe, Planner, Shopping List, import, onboarding and related communication features made available by the operator. Features and availability can differ by installation, account plan, configuration and release state.

Your account

• Provide accurate account information and keep your Local password or external-provider account secure.
• Do not share access in a way that bypasses account controls or use another person's account without permission.
• Notify the operator if you believe the account or installation has been compromised.
• You are responsible for content and actions submitted through your account.

Acceptable use

You must not use PantryM8 unlawfully; interfere with its operation or security; probe or bypass access controls; upload malicious content; abuse import, email, voting or authentication functions; infringe another person's rights; or use automated access that unreasonably burdens the installation or an external service.

Your content

You retain responsibility for the household, recipe, image, request and other content you enter. You confirm that you have permission to use that content and grant the operator the limited permission needed to store, process, back up and display it to provide PantryM8. Do not import or publish material in breach of copyright, privacy or website terms.

External services

Optional authentication, OCR, barcode lookup, recipe import, hosting and email functions rely on third parties selected by the operator. Their own terms and privacy policies apply. PantryM8 does not control an external provider's availability, content or account decisions.

Food, nutrition and household decisions

PantryM8 is an organisational tool, not medical, dietary, nutritional, allergy, food-safety or professional advice. Verify ingredients, quantities, allergens, storage, preparation and suitability yourself, and seek qualified advice where appropriate.

Plans, changes and availability

The operator may configure account plans, limits and available capabilities. Unless the operator separately offers and documents paid services, PantryM8's plan labels do not by themselves create a payment agreement. Features may change, be interrupted for maintenance, or be withdrawn. You should keep any independent records or backups you require.

Suspension and termination

The operator may suspend or remove access to protect users or the service, address misuse, comply with law, or discontinue the installation. You may ask the operator to close your account. Data handling after closure is described in the Privacy Policy and the operator's applicable retention practices.

Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, PantryM8 is provided on an “as available” basis without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every purpose. The operator's responsibility, and any exclusions or limits of liability, are governed by applicable law and any supplementary terms the operator provides. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes, governing rules and contact

The operator may update these terms as the service or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies this version. Applicable law and any valid operator-specific terms determine the governing jurisdiction and dispute process.
